The role requires strong Cisco routing & switching, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, and firewall/VPN expertise, plus leadership of network initiatives from planning through execution. Hybrid schedule with on-call rotation and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS.
• 7+ years hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong Cisco routing & switching knowledge.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Infoblox.
• Experience with WAN technologies, SD-WAN, DMVPN, DIA, broadband.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki wireless networking.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA/FTD) and VPNs.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and security best practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting with Wireshark or tcpdump.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage routing, switching, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP.
• Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, and security controls.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and projects.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes.
• Monitor network health with SolarWinds or similar tools.
• Maintain diagrams, IP plans, standards, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with service providers for circuit activation and escalations.
• Ensure availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
