• Administers and monitors all bingo activities to the policies and procedures of the organization
• Entering information into the Bingo Management System
• Be current with the DNGE Employee Handbook policies & procedures as well as the MICS
• Ensures the integrity of the game
• Ensure an adequate inventory of bingo supplies is on hand
• Develop new programs and promotions
• Prepare a monthly calendar every two months in advance.
• Must have a phone and reliable transportation
• Working closely with guests to handle questions and help resolve complaints
• Required to fill in, in the Bingo department, if needed (see non-essential functions)
• Complies with other reasonably assigned duties received from the General Manager or above.

Non-essential functions

• Handling large sums of money.
• Verifying paper bingo card inventory at the beginning and ending of each session
• Verifying level of admission tickets of all winners
• Ensuring/Verifying correct payouts for bingo winners
• Announce Bingo Ball in a clear concise tone
• Updating the Progressives on the whiteboard, hotline, and website
• Preparing and announcing Bingo House Rules at the beginning of each session
• Setting up equipment as well as Bonanza board and Bonus numbers as it pertains to each session
• Monitor the guests and help with any questions and concerns
• Maintaining a steady flow of the game
• Reconciling paper bingo card inventory and cash at the end of each session
• Transferring cash to casino cage while being escorted by Security Officer at the end of each session
• Receiving Gaming keys for bingo sensitive areas
• Ensuring the correct session and date are in play
• Accounting for accruals
• Assembling Bingo sheets and packs in preparation for session
• Responsible for sales of admission packets and machines

Contacts

• Continuous contact with all Bingo Personnel
  • Keeping staff informed about any and all upcoming events and changes to work schedules
  • Hosting bi-weekly to monthly department meetings
• Frequent contact with the General Manger
  • Prepare and review necessary reports
  • Maintain communication on any issues and events
  • Attending mandatory company meetings
• Frequent contact with Gaming Commission
  • Receiving approval prior to Implementing new programs or any changes
  • Receiving approval prior to disposing of unused or damaged Bingo equipment
• Regular contact with the Accounting department
  • Completing end of month inventory counts
  • Attending monthly financial meetings
  • Submitting invoices and purchase orders to ensure adequate inventory of all bingo supplies is on hand
  • Reviews and submit bills for payment
  • Develop, monitor, and adhere to an annual budget for Bingo Department
  • Ensure that all reconciliation reports are completed in a timely manner
• Regular contact with the Marketing Manager
  • Developing and involvement in promotional activities of Bingo
• Moderate contact with Suppliers
  • When ordering Bingo Paper supplies
  • When ordering Prizes for Bingo Bashes
  • When changing programs, to ensure that it is done correctly
  • For routine maintenance and repairs
• Infrequent contact with Human Resources Department
  • Prepare Staff Requisitions as needed
  • Reviewing potential candidates for hire
  • Taking part in interviews for new hires
  • Submitting Disciplinary action forms
• Infrequent contact with other department team members
  • When unforeseen issues arise dealing with outside of the Bingo department

supervisory responsibilities

• Training
• Coaching and monitoring performance of staff to ensure compliance with the organization policies and procedures
• Preforming 90 day and annual evaluations
• The reward and disciplining of Bingo Staff
• Resolving any internal or external complaints/conflicts
• Maintaining proper staffing levels
