Job summary

Oneida Casino in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Bingo Operations associate who delivers outstanding guest service while processing cash transactions and selling papers and electronics. You will issue bingo cards, maintain accurate sales logs, and issue payouts for winning cards as part of a fast-paced team.

Shifts include evenings and weekends with competitive wage of $15.45 per hour plus tips averaging $3–$5 per hour, plus tiered shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bingo games and operations.
• Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
• Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software (such as PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Bingo operations at all times and in all activities. Maintain effective relationships with customers and provide solutions for concerns.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships and communications with Gaming personnel and internal/external customers; attend department meetings.
• Inform supervisor of recommendations to improve customer service systems or activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and audit standards; adhere to all laws and practices.
• Cash in/out customers and maintain cash/cash equivalents; issue bingo cards and payout winnings.
• Provide information about games, promotions, and up-sell bingo supplies.
• Inventory and reconcile supplies; complete daily paymaster paperwork and revenues reconciliation.
• Comply with Title 31 rules; collect information for W-2G forms for large payouts.

Salary

After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation increase.

Tips average an additional $3.00-$5.00 an hour.

Shift Differential

• Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) - $1.00 per hour worked
• Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am - $3.00 per hour worked
• Saturday (4am to 4pm) - $2.00 per hour worked
• Saturday (4pm to 4am) - $3.00 per hour worked
• Sunday 4am to Monday 6am - $2.00 per hour worked

Position Summary

Scheduling includes every other Friday - Sunday off.

Provide excellent guest services and work as part of a team to ensure that guests have a pleasant experience. Operate and perform cash transactions and ensure accurate sales to customers. Sell papers and electronics. Issue bingo cards to customers and maintains a log of bingo sales. Issue payouts for winning cards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Bingo operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of Oneida Casino. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships, communications processes and activities with all Gaming personnel and all other internal and external customers. Ensure established procedures, and processes are utilized at all times, to ensure maximum understanding and coordination are in place. Attend department meetings to ensure effective communications take place.
• Inform supervisor of recommendations/ideas for improving all areas of this position to include ideas on improving customer service systems or activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in all areas at all times. Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations. Adhere to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.
• Cash in/Cash out customers while maintaining cash/cash equivalents and making every exchange carefully and accurately.
• Provide guests with information about the types of games played, promotions offered and up sell bingo supplies.
• Inventory and reconcile supplies.
• Complete daily paperwork which includes all paymaster paperwork, count issued bank and revenues returned to verify the correct amounts and sign to attest the amounts.
• Comply with all Title 31 rules and regulations.
• Collect information from winners of large pay outs for the completion of the W2-G form.

• Must pass a background security check with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements, Tribal/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position. A temporary license or Gaming License issued by the Oneida Gaming Commission is required as a condition of employment and continuing employment within the Oneida Nation’s Gaming Division.

Physical Requirments/Work Environment

• Frequently walk, sit, stand, each with hands and arms, talk and hear.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
• Irregular shifts, extended hours, evenings, holidays and/or weekend work is required.
• Work environment may NOT be smoke, noise or dust free.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED Diploma, or HSED Certification is required within one (1) year of employment. Applicants aged fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
• Previous cash handling experience.
