Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience providing work direction to teammates and coordinating shipments.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work schedules of warehouse staff performing shipping, receiving, loading/unloading, picking and palletizing.
• Determines storage space needs and schedules distribution of products to meet objectives and customer requirements.
• Ensures equipment and company vehicles are maintained in compliance with laws; enforces safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitors attendance and productivity; provides counseling as required.
• Coordinates with warehouse/operations manager and other supervisors regarding shipments and cut-off times; addresses shortages.
