Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a DC Material Handler I to receive, pack, and ship products with accuracy. You will unload trucks, inspect shipments, scan barcodes, and maintain stock levels with RF equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, 0–1 year of related experience.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive products by unloading trucks and verify against packing lists.
• Inspect shipments for damage and confirm quantities match orders.
• Scan barcodes and print labels for accurate stock numbers.
• Stock, replenish, and organize picking stock and reserve areas.
• Pick, pack, and palletize orders; ensure safe shipping practices.
• Operate RF equipment and ERP software; maintain clean, safe area.
