Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC is seeking a motivated Material Handler/Driver to receive, fill, and ship products, while ensuring safe transportation to customers and store locations. You will operate forklifts, manage route-based deliveries, and maintain accurate paperwork and inventory control.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), and familiarity with RF scanners and ERP systems. A warehouse environment with safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years truck driving experience or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment/vehicles under supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; must remain eligible to drive a CMV under FMCSA regulations.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• English proficiency preferred; safety regulations knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic power equipment to locate, store, and move products safely.
• Receive product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and complete necessary paperwork.
• Drive company vehicles in compliance with DOT/state/federal standards.
• Assist in inventory counts and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
