Ferguson is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate Equipment Operator for our Upper Marlboro, MD distribution center. The role involves accurate picking, container assembly and daily tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Expect to operate PIT equipment, use RF scanners, and complete a post-offer background check and drug screening. Competitive benefits accompany the wage range.

Formación

• High work ethic and willingness to work overtime on a 2nd shift.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred.
• Experience operating electric forklifts preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately and safely pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations.
• Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner.
• Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and demonstrate teamwork.
• Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.
• Use hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units for tasks.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety policies.
• Participate in associate meetings and report concerns to management.

We are hiring 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate Equipment Operators for our Distribution Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Schedule

2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently without assistance
• Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required
• Experience operating electric powered forklifts preferred
• Ability to excel in fast-paced environment
• Post-offer background check & drug screen are required

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations
• Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
• Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments
• Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
• Execute tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

$15.00 - $41.97

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
