Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience delivering classroom instruction and hands-on training in a distribution setting.
• Ability to train and evaluate operators on PIT equipment and site procedures.
• Strong reading and explanation of manuals, safety instructions, and SOPs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with groups and individuals.
• Ability to analyze performance data, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
• Patient coaching while maintaining strict qualification standards.
• Organized, with scheduling, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and LMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective PIT training, both classroom and hands-on, to ensure safe operator performance.
• Assess knowledge and skills, document results, and authorize operator qualification.
• Develop structured training plans for new hires and transfers.
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to workers to close gaps.
• Coordinate training schedules with Operations, Safety, and staffing agencies.
• Maintain training materials, records, and equipment checklists.
• Reinforce safety standards and intervene for unsafe behavior.
• Adapt instruction to different experience levels and progress rates.
