Job summary

Langham Logistics seeks a Master PIT Trainer & Compliance Coordinator to own the PIT training and certification program across Indianapolis-area facilities. You will train hourly associates on Turret/TSP, Reach, Sit-Down, and other PIT equipment, and certify them per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 before they operate unsupervised.

You will manage certification records, schedule recertifications, investigate PIT safety incidents, and work with Operations, Safety, and HR to align training with

Qualifications

• 3+ years operating powered industrial trucks in distribution/warehouse environments.
• Certified PIT trainer or readiness to obtain trainer certification within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Willingness to travel between Indianapolis-area facilities on a recurring basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on PIT training across multiple facilities.
• Certify associates on all PIT equipment types before independent operation.
• Maintain audit-ready certification records and track expirations/recertifications.
• Investigate PIT-related safety incidents to determine root cause and retraining needs.
• Coordinate training schedules to align with production and labor availability across sites.
