Job summary

Sephora is offering a 10-week internship for DC Systems Engineering at the Perryman Distribution Center in Maryland. You will support system engineering and continuous improvement, partnering with DC Operations and IT to analyze processes, develop reports, and drive improvements across distribution operations.

The role is onsite with a 36-hour work week. You will gain hands-on experience in workflow analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making using Excel and SQL, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Interest in supply chain, distribution operations, industrial engineering, logistics or related fields.
• Foundational knowledge of or interest in supply chain systems (WMS, WES/WCS, databases, labor tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive project ownership and problem-solving in a Distribution Center environment.
• Six Sigma knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand fulfillment workflows with DC Operations, IT and leadership.
• Perform workflow observations, capacity analysis, space utilization, and data collection.
• Develop planning models and reporting with Excel/SQL for forecasting and KPI tracking.
• Standardize business processes across the network and align slotting practices.
• Document findings and communicate results to engineering and management.
