Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor in Illinois to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving and merchandise processing, ensuring goods are ready for distribution to stores.

You will lead a team, enforce safety and facility maintenance standards, and coordinate with other Supervisors. Strong Excel and communication skills are important, with 1–2 years of supervisory DC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two or four year degrees related to business management preferred.
• One to two years’ experience in a supervisory role in a mid-size to large distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support a team-oriented environment. Ensure an orderly and neatly maintained area.
• Ensure department level compliance with safety and facility maintenance standards.
• Direct work of the team to meet the daily needs of the business.
• Proactively establish and carry out shrinkage control disciplines and programs.
• Effectively communicate with other Supervisors and Managers in the Distribution Center to coordinate other warehouse activities.
• Complete all internal reporting processes timely and accurately.
• Interviews, selects and trains Associates; provide coaching, counseling and progressive discipline as appropriate.
• Accurately maintain Associates’ hours in Kronos.
• Additional responsibilities as business needs arise.
