Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is hiring a Stacker for our Distribution Center to manage put‑aways, replenishments, transfers, consolidations, and order picking using a reach truck and RF scanner. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume DC environment.

Requirements include 1+ year warehouse experience, the ability to learn RF scanning, and completion of powered equipment training with meet production and attendance standards. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Ability to learn proper use of RF scanner and safely operate stacker and reach truck forklift.
• Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Complete Powered Equipment Training, Stacking Area Training Program, and Associate Proficiency Test.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and obtain any applicable license.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, and attendance standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle put-away, replenishment, pull, transfers, consolidations, and order picking.
• Scan pallets to locations and drop zones; review daily audit trail.
• Consolidate pallets to save space and locate/remove merchandise in racks.
• Operate equipment and coordinate maintenance when needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety rules; maintain clean workspace.
• Participate in special/high-priority projects as required.
