Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a DC Trainer - Process to train new distribution center employees in picking, packing and shipping, and to deliver industrial equipment training and process change support.

You will provide hands-on instruction, maintain training logs, conduct new hire orientations, promote 5S and safety, and assist with training material, onboarding and cross-shift coverage as needed.

Manufacturing plant environment with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with basic math and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under direction.
• Knowledge of DC functions: pick, pack, receive, ship.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Provide hands-on training and instruction on DC work instructions.
• Maintain training logs.
• Conduct new hire orientations.
• Practice 5S and Safety.
• React to change and handle other tasks as assigned.
• Assist with preparation of Training Material.
• Assist with classroom onboarding and training.
• Flexibly perform additional training duties.
• Support other shifts if necessary.
