Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Defined Contribution Conversion Lead to coordinate transitions of Defined Contribution Plans to DC Plan Services. The role documents and coordinates conversion data, develops a conversion strategy with the client, and manages data delivery through to resolved questions, delivering client-facing reports.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in implementation or 401(k) operations.
• Understanding of retirement market and client service.
• Strong organizational and operational skills.
• Proven problem solving and client management abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to work with payroll software programs.
• Fidelity products and services knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transition of Defined Contribution Plans to DC Plan Services.
• Develop and document a conversion strategy with clients.
• Obtain, track, and review conversion data packages from prior recordkeepers for completeness.
• Resolve data questions with prior recordkeepers and stakeholders.
• Validate post-transfer data accuracy and produce client-facing reports.
• Serve as primary client contact for data conversion and reconciliation activities.
• Participate in deep dive discovery with clients, prior recordkeepers, and trustees.
• Plan for potential issues and execute risk mitigation during implementations.
