The role emphasizes leading a team of supervisors and warehouse staff, driving lean improvements, cost reduction, and safety.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of DC experience and strong WMS expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Minimum 5 years progressive DC/warehouse operations experience.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role with direct reports.
Strong knowledge of WMS and logistics software.
Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Advanced Excel skills preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to walk distribution center floors and inspect facilities.

Responsibilities

Direct all distribution center activities to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize throughput.
Monitor KPIs like productivity, accuracy, safety, and costs, driving continuous improvement.
Ensure OSHA compliance and safety across operations.
Manage stakeholder relationships across transportation, inventory, customer service, and retail teams.
Oversee inventory accuracy and cycle counting.
Coordinate with transportation to optimize inbound/outbound schedules.
Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and warehouse staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
Drive staffing and scheduling to meet demand while controlling labor costs.
