Job summary

DHL eCommerce is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the major functions of the distribution center during the shift, driving efficient production, quality, and transportation in line with company policies. You will lead supervisors and hourly staff while coordinating with HR and safety functions to maintain high performance.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
• Excellent MS Office and Excel skills.
• Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production, quality, and transportation in accordance with DHL policies to optimize profitability.
• Supervise Operations Supervisors and hourly employees.
• Conduct and ensure timely performance evaluations.
• Maintain high staff morale and retention; coordinate weekly operations plans.
• Support and coordinate regional transportation operations and safety compliance.
