Warner Bros. Discovery's CNN Washington newsroom is seeking a News Desk Producer to helm the nerve center of coverage. The role demands sharp editorial judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to pivot as priorities shift in a high‑volume environment.

You will coordinate live signals, manage feeds for DC events, and work closely with field crews, photojournalists and digital teams to ensure timely, accurate coverage across broadcasts and platforms.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressively complex related experience.
• Strong editorial acumen and ability to interpret.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment 24 hours/ 365 days a year.
• College degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage live signals for DC events.
• Cue and route feeds; keep shows and digital managers informed.
• Coordinate pool coverage of events for CNN.
• Collaborate with field ops to deploy crews on breaking news or developing stories.
• Share video and editorial information quickly with the network.
