Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer III to service MR equipment across the D.C. Metro area.

The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthineers equipment, with on-site duties and close collaboration with customers. Candidates should have 5+ years of electro-mechanical or biomedical engineering experience, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver's license for day and night

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma. Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• 5+ years' experience of complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments needed.
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
• Physical Requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
• Highly organized and able to plan.

Responsibilities

• servicing MR equipment in the D.C. Metro area.
• Engineer Level based on prior experience.
• installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
• delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
• manage financial performance within your territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure.
• manage company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
