O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Naperville, IL. The role performs routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on distribution center equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations.

The position is entry-level, with supervision from higher-level technicians and ongoing training to build technical skills and career growth. Excellent teamwork and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4-6 months of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related operational environments.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
• Experience with or ability to learn CMMS systems.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards, including OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of distribution center systems and production equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within CMMS and maintenance logs.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support repair and replacement of worn or damaged equipment under supervision.
