Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to drive operational excellence across warehouse areas and manage WMS, equipment, and product placement. You will lead a team, oversee maintenance and contractor work, and analyze reports to improve efficiency and safety.

The role requires 3+ years in distribution, a background in conveyors/MHE/PLC controls, and the ability to work weekends or holidays. A bachelor's in operations or related field is preferred, with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a distribution environment.
• Experience managing conveyor systems, Material Handling Equipment and electrical PLC controls.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and relocate if necessary.
• Strong change management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence across warehouse areas, including WMS and equipment, optimize layout and product placement.
• Oversee facility maintenance, repair, and contractor oversight to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Review maintenance, production, and quality reports to plan cost-effective improvements.
• Promote a culture of safety and monitor compliance with safety standards.
• Coach and develop Associates, providing feedback and maintaining a productive, union-free environment.
