Ferguson is seeking a Distribution Center Load Planner to support load planning for Richland, WA or Stockton, CA locations. You will coordinate daily truckload shipments, optimize routes, and partner with carriers to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent transportation, logistics, route planning, or related industry experience will be considered
• Experience in route planning, transportation coordination, or as a delivery driver is required
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams and with customers
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Detail-oriented with ability to apply processes and guidelines

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate daily truckload shipments to Ferguson distribution centers efficiently and cost-effectively
• Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes, service levels, and costs
• Use transportation systems to tender freight to carrier partners per routing guides
• Communicate delays due to system issues, weather, or other operational challenges
• Review and improve transportation procedures in partnership with management
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate transportation execution
