Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Perris, CA, is seeking a Distribution Center Load Planner to coordinate daily truckload shipments and optimize transportation costs. You will partner with carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery across Perris and Moreno Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent transportation, logistics, route planning, or related industry experience will be considered.
• Previous route planning, transportation coordination, or delivery driver experience required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams and with customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook; Word and Access preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a collaborative team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily truckload shipments into Ferguson distribution centers in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve transportation processes, service levels, and costs.
• Utilize transportation systems to tender freight to carrier partners per routing guides.
• Communicate transportation delays and disruptions caused by system issues or events.
• Review, evaluate and help improve transportation procedures in partnership with management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate execution of transportation plans.
