Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a full-time Distribution Inventory Control – Off Desk associate at our Aberdeen, MD Distribution Center. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and coordinating with the Distribution Center team to ensure precise stock levels.

Responsibilities include audits, damage removal, and reconciling variances, with a shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00am–5:30pm. Competitive hourly pay and robust benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, preferably in retail.
• Experience operating Cherry Picker/Order Picker.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory accuracy through audits and observations.
• Direct damage removal and manage stock movement.
• Perform daily cycle counts and quality control checks.
• Maintain department metrics and back-to-stock processes.
• Count locations twice a year and manage recounts.
• Research variances and assist buyers with quality checks.
