Job summary

The Container Store in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a Distribution Inventory Control associate to drive inventory accuracy in our distribution center. This full-time, hourly role supports cycle counts, damage processing, and stock movements, with a standard Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm schedule.

Ideal candidates have warehouse inventory control experience, ability to operate a Cherry Picker, and strong Microsoft skills. We offer competitive pay and benefits including health plans and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once

Responsibilities

What Will You Be Doing?

The Distribution Inventory Control position is responsible for helping to manage the inventory in the Distribution Center. This position drives the process accuracy through conversation and operations that help to identify Distribution Center needs. This position communicates to the entire Distribution Center team that they are all responsible for inventory accuracy.

This is a fulltime, hourly, non-exempt position.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

• Leads inventory accuracy through audits and observations

• Performs daily cycle counts and quality control checks
• Assists with product movement by operating equipment as needed
