Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to elevate productivity, throughput and safety in its distribution centers. You will partner with operations and leadership to implement data-driven improvements across automation and warehouse systems.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration across functions, and a problem-solving mindset. Travel up to 25% and experience with WMS/WES and labor systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Experience with distribution center systems (WMS/WES, LMS).

Responsibilities

• Understand DC systems including automation and WMS.
• Identify continuous improvement projects using lead methodologies.
• Use data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Propose enhancements to automated systems to improve metrics.
• Collaborate with management to maintain cost control and budgets.
• Assist in implementing labor standards for hourly work.
• Evaluate equipment deployment to boost productivity and safety.
• Support regional buildings and network-wide initiatives.
