Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer focused on optimizing flow in distribution facilities to improve productivity, cost, and service. You will apply warehousing technology, WMS/LMS, and automation tools to lead CI projects and SOP development.

The role requires hands-on design of layouts, labor standards, and data-driven analyses while collaborating with operations, IT, and safety teams. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; warehousing/logistics exposure preferred.
• 2+ years in Operations & Automation in Warehousing or Logistics.
• 2+ years of SAP or related ERP experience for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Design and maintain facility layouts and material flow to optimize throughput.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, and value stream mapping.
• Develop engineered labor standards and labor management within WMS/LMS environments.
• Contribute to AI-driven initiatives and data-informed decision making.
