Family Dollar in Maquoketa, IA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the DC HR team across multiple shifts. Relocation support is offered to the right candidate as part of our commitment to building a strong local presence.

You will advise senior leadership on people strategies, manage onboarding, training, succession planning, and compliance with federal and state laws, while driving a positive, high-performance culture in a busy, automated distribution center.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years HR management in support of a light industrial workforce (200+ associates).
• 40+ hour work week; ability to work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead the HR function in the distribution center.
• Advise senior leaders on people matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR within the DC.
• Lead leadership development, engagement, staffing planning, succession planning, training, performance management, compliance.
• Maintain union-free work environment and fair policies.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Oversee onboarding and training across the facility.
• Develop leaders and succession plans.
• Manage hourly/salaried staffing processes and sourcing.
• Resolve employee relations issues with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SSC and DC partners on improvements.
• Analyze turnover, productivity, attendance, and safety; drive improvements.
• Create and maintain a performance culture.
• Conduct internal investigations (harassment, EEOC).
• Build community ties and maintain employer brand.
