Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a forklift/operator to unload trucks, move freight, stock racks, and manage surplus in our distribution center in Mississippi. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency, including operating multiple types of power equipment and advancing product knowledge.

Experience with warehouse parts lines, advanced computer skills, and Spanish language ability are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating various types of power equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Move incoming merchandise from truck to dock and dock to stocking areas.
• Stock all rack merchandise and arrange surplus from zones.
• Set down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made to stocking locations.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed and assist with mezzanine zones.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices.
• Train new team members and ensure training is conducted as scheduled with complete documentation.
• All other duties as assigned.
