ABEC, a leader in biopharmaceutical equipment, is seeking a DC Engineering Intern in Wilson, NC.

You will support Manufacturing Engineering to identify productivity improvements, collect data, analyze processes, and present findings to leadership. This paid, full-time temporary internship offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing methods and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Position Summary:

The DC Engineering Intern will support the Manufacturing Engineering team in its continuous effort to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and overall manufacturing performance. This role provides hands‑on exposure to manufacturing processes, process improvement initiatives, and engineering projects within a dynamic production environment. The intern will work closely with engineering and operations personnel to identify opportunities for improvement, collect and analyze data, implement solutions, and present findings that contribute to ABEC's operational excellence objectives.
