Job summary

American Bankers Association (ABA) in Washington, DC is offering a paid internship for undergraduates. The role focuses on website content governance, migration support, and UX improvements across ABA's digital properties.

You will work onsite at least two days per week during a 37.5-hour week, from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027. The ideal candidate is an enrolled undergraduate rising junior or senior with experience in WordPress or Drupal, HTML/CSS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university as a rising junior or senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Experience with WordPress or Drupal is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support website migration and content governance by inventorying, reviewing, organizing, and validating content.
• Maintain and update website content to support ABA initiatives and events.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop recommendations for new web projects.
• Monitor website content and performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve UX and accessibility.
• Conduct website audits to fix broken links and formatting issues.
• Apply SEO and UX best practices to ensure consistent user experience across digital properties.
• Support UX research and testing activities and document findings.
