Job summary

MP Nexlevel, LLC is seeking a project coordinator to support the Project Manager through all lifecycle stages. You will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and clients to keep programs on schedule and within budgets.

The role requires reading blueprints, managing documentation, and enforcing safety standards under OSHA guidelines. Strong MS Office skills are essential.

• Experience in utility construction and management
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read blueprints and follow job specifications

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in overall project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout
• Coordinate project activities and ensure timely communication between field crews, subcontractors, and clients
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and assist field supervision
• Enforce company procedures and standards including OSHA requirements
• Assist with oversight, training and development of crew
• Understand contract scope, provisions, specifications, payment and milestones
• Prepare and process administrative documentation (safety audits, change orders, billing)
• Review project performance to budget and coordinate with customers on value-add activities
• Promote the company mission, vision, and values

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Project Manger in overall project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout
• Coordinate project activities and ensure timely communication between field crews, subcontractors, and clients
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets
• Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and assist field supervision
• Enforce all Company, OSHA and other applicable procedures and standards
• Assist with oversight, training and development of crew
• Know the contract scope including standard and special provisions, technical specifications, payment and change clauses and scheduling milestones
• Complete all administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner (safety audits and observations, final review of production, manage change orders, prepare bills for accounting)
• Promptly complete authorization of all invoices, receipts, and fuel charges
• Review project performance to budget
• Works collaboratively with customers to define value-add activities and ensure their needs are being met
• Improve personal, technical, and supervisory skills through personal development plans and offered trainings
• Represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values
• Safety training as required by position
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Education and Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid DOT health card
• Previous utility construction experience and management experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
• Ability to use computers /electronic devices
• Able to read blueprints and follow job specifications and orders
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
