Job summary

EMI Services is seeking a DC 3rd Class Engineer to safely operate and maintain all plant equipment under watch. Responsibilities include monitoring gauges, adjusting controls, recording logs, and keeping machinery in good order. A Third Class License and active Top Secret Clearance with SCI are required.

Competitive hourly wages of $53.02–$59.89 DOE accompany employer-paid health benefits and a pension. Candidates must meet security clearances, pass a drug screen, and have U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or commercial facilities maintenance environment.
• Adaptable and flexible in work situations.
• Prioritizes tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters and charts registering system operation.
• Adjust controls to insure safe and efficient operation of the system and meet service demands.
• Record in logs various aspects of the system's operation.
• Keep engines, machinery and equipment in good working order.
• Direct and coordinate activities of other workers in operating and maintaining systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
