Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Middleboro, MA is seeking a per diem ART program staffer to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders and help maintain a therapeutic milieu.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, BLS, and CPI training within 30 days of hire. You will work rotating Days and Evenings with weekend shifts, supporting patient safety and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0-1 year related experience preferred.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
• Parent/Family counseling, including Parent Management Training and Family Systems interventions.
• Adheres to guidelines for patients on special status (e.g. suicide, sexual abuse or AWOL precautions).
• Provides accurate information on shift-to-shift report and remains on the unit during incoming shift report.
• Thinks and acts quickly in emergencies.
• Display professional boundaries in relationships with patients at all times.
• Complete and file all documentation as required in a timely manner.
