Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support delivery of DBT interventions within our treatment programs. You will assess behavior, develop and implement individualized plans, train patients and support persons, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care plans.

You will work under the clinical leader, participate in supervision, and contribute to DBT-specific treatment plans to address presenting symptoms, with emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) required for Addiction Recovery programs.
• Experience with CBT and DBT therapies; 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide DBT and other therapeutic services including groups per clinical standards.
• Participate in supervision and communicate patient progress to care plans.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust as needed with clinical leader.
• Document mental health services per regulations and payer expectations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning.
• Train and educate patients and support persons on DBT interventions.
