Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support DBT-focused treatment within our programs in Wisconsin. You will assess behavior, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care.

Responsibilities include delivering DBT-based groups and trainings, documenting outcomes, and providing parent or support-person education to reinforce treatment goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) if working in an Addiction Recovery program.
12 months of CBT/DBT experience preferred.
Residential programs – valid driver’s license in good standing (preferred).
CPR certification within 30 days of hire; NCI training within 60 days; RCC/CBRF trainings within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Provide DBT and other therapies to patients per care standards under supervision.
Assess behavior functions and develop individualized plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Train patients and support persons in DBT strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
Document services per regulations; ensure timely clinical records and outcomes.
