City of New York seeks an experienced DB2 Database Administrator to support D82 v12+ on IBM zJOS. You will collaborate with development teams to install and migrate releases, perform data fixes, and execute database recovery and tuning tasks for PMS, PPMS, and FMS systems.
Responsibilities include backup/recovery, runstats and reorgs, performance monitoring, and coordinating with IBM support for production migrations and tool upgrades.
FISA is in search of an experienced DB2 Database Administrator (OBA) with proven experience supporting D82 v12 (or higher) on an IBM zJOS platform. Primary responsibilities include working with application development teams to install and migrate releases, support execution of data fixes, define new and execute databases recovery functions, definition and execution of standard database tuning procedures (e.g., runstats, reorgs). The target systems for which support is required are: the Payroll Management System (PMS), the Pension Payroll Management System (PPMS) and the Financial Management System (FMS).
