Job summary

Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking an experienced Defined Contribution Account Manager for a fully remote role in the United States. You will focus on client/advisor service with support from a strong implementation and plan-design team.

The position offers a 37.5 hour week, generous PTO, health/dental/disability/life insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, HSA, and ongoing professional training. Start times are flexible; you’ll work from home with equipment supplied.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of combo plan experience or five or more years of defined contribution plan experience and defined benefit plan experience.
• Superior knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing.
• Working knowledge of cash balance plans including hypothetical allocations, top heavy requirements, and minimum and maximum funding requirements.
• General understanding of actuarial valuations.
• General knowledge of PBGC coverage and its requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate
• Maintain a caseload of DB/DC Combo plans
• Manage and prioritize your workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
• Exemplify superior client service and the ability to consult with clients regarding plan operation and design
• Work with other Nova departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience
• Document all client interactions in our workflow management system
• Perform work according to Nova policies and procedures
• Expand professional knowledge through seminars and self-study
• Clearly communicate with the client and advisor on the complexities of combo plans including annual funding requirements, plan design, and deadlines (funding, 5500, PBGC, amendments, etc.)

Overview of the Position

Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill fully remote Defined Contribution Account Manager positions. We will provide you with a home office set-up including a computer and a phone. Nova has been offering remote work for over 10 years. We offer a great work experience for our remote employees!

Our consultant position focuses on client/advisor service and is supported by a strong implementation group, plan document team, defined benefit team, production team, quality assurance team, special projects team, and a loan and distribution department. Our Account Managers are organized into teams that work toward firm goals with special recognition given to individuals with exceptional performance. Each Team Leader schedules weekly calls to discuss upcoming deadlines and developments within Nova and the industry.

• Base Salary $95,000 - $120,000
