Overview

Defined Contribution MEP Account Manager role at Nova 401(k) Associates. This is a fully remote position with home office setup provided. Nova has offered remote work for over 10 years and emphasizes a strong implementation and client service focus. The team is transforming Account Manager roles to emphasize review and client/advisor service, supported by a robust operations group.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate
• Maintain a caseload of MEP adopters, approximately 50% split between ADP and Safe Harbor plans
• Manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
• Exemplify superior client service and ability to consult with clients regarding plan operation and design
• Collaborate with other Nova departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience
• Document all client interactions in the workflow management system
• Follow Nova policies and procedures in all work
• Proactively communicate with MEP clients and investment advisors about new industry developments

Qualifications

• Five or more years of 401(k) plan administration experience
• Strong knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
• Familiarity with MEP service models and providers is a plus
• NIPA credential, ASPPA credential, or a 4-year college degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business
• High level of critical thinking; lifelong learner and coachable

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary $74,000 - $95,000
• Salaried, non-exempt

Work Location / Hours

• Work from home
• Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer
• Company provides all necessary computer equipment
