Job summary

AES Corporation in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an Outdoor Lighting Operational Lead to oversee street lighting maintenance and construction activities. You will manage multiple contractors, develop strong stakeholder relationships, and report to the Manager of MVLt.

The role combines fieldwork across the AES Ohio service territory with office time in Dayton, with potential to work from home up to one day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Business or Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Good problem solving and resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily operating plans and monitor lighting system status.
• Supervise contractors' technical personnel in real time.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external staff and key accounts.
• Maintain safety focus in street lighting operations.
• Evaluate lighting products for quality and maintenance.
• Evaluate lighting contractors for qualifications and safety.
• Manage material ordering for maintenance with multiple vendors.
• Track materials, work orders, and progress of LED Mass Change Out programs.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with AES policies and controls.
• Identify problems, analyze causes, and resolve.
