Job summary

HomeGrown Kitchen is seeking a server to provide warm, attentive service for a daytime eatery. You will deliver food and drinks, greet guests, and ensure a memorable dining experience with friendly recommendations and proactive care.

Teamwork is essential in a fast-paced environment; the role requires mobility, basic math, and clear communication. On-site work with responsibilities including POS use and table maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to wipe down tables and booths.
• Move dishes and items around dining room up to 30 times per shift.
• Basic reading, writing, math and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests and make recommendations on food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with guests to maintain a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the Nigel POS system.
• Observe and respond to guest needs and requests.
• Present guest checks to tables.
• Assist with clearing and resetting dining room tables.
