Durango School District 9-R is seeking a Day Custodian for Park Elementary School in Durango, CO. This full-time, 1.0 FTE role includes full benefits and begins immediately, with a potential start date around 10/19/26 or ASAP.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and common areas, playground maintenance, snow removal, and coordination with the Custodial Manager. A high school diploma and 3–5 years of cleaning experience are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and age 18+.
• 3–5 years experience in general cleaning, chemical handling, and customer service preferred.
• Safety and asbestos training within 3 months after entering position.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cleaning of classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, gym, and more, following safety procedures.
• Maintain playground equipment and ensure doors/windows are secure.
• Assist with summer moves and seasonal snow removal.
• Report hazards and supply needs to supervisor.
• Ongoing duties as assigned.
