Job summary

Durango School District 9-R is seeking a Student Level Cleaner for the 3-hour evening shifts (4:00 – 7:00 pm, 4:30 – 7:30 pm, or 5:00 – 8:00 pm) during the school year, with possible summer work. The role supports custodial operations across school facilities in Durango, CO.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Durango High School or Durango Big Picture High School.
• Must be at least 15 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Sweep with broom and dust pan set up.
• Sweep using vacuums, including vacuum backpacks.
• Remove trash and recycling from interior of the building.
• Clean white boards and chalk boards.
• Clean surfaces on tables and desks.
• Outdoor duties may include snow shoveling and light grounds maintenance.
