Job summary

Imperial (IDI) is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support supermarket partners by maintaining well-stocked, visually appealing inline categories, seasonal displays, and promotional sections. You will build strong in-store relationships and drive profitable sales while representing IDI in daily customer interactions.

Responsibilities include generating sales orders, stocking shelves, managing inventory, and addressing basic store-level issues across assigned locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – login/password and following simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence and memos.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
• Place/maintain displays (promotional and sales displays, new item introductions).
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections clean and stocked.
• Tag/price compliance.
• Reorder products you service.
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections and cross merchandise.
• Prepare weekly service reports for submission via tablet.
• Manage back stock and ensure product is on shelf.
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf.
• Other duties as assigned.
