Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. seeks a Retail Merchandiser to stock and showcase inline categories, seasonal displays, and promotions in partner supermarkets. You will build in-store relationships, manage inventories, and address basic store issues across assigned locations.

The role emphasizes delivering strong customer service, organizing displays, and maintaining planograms with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills: login/password and following simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide by 10s and 100s.
• Ability to handle money, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
• Place and maintain displays (promo items, new items, etc.).
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Maintain shelf conditions, keep sections clean and debris-free.
• Tag and price compliance.
• Reorder products you service.
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections and cross-merchandise.
• Prepare weekly service reports via tablet.
• Manage back stock and ensure product is moved to shelf.
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Make regularly scheduled store visits
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained
• Place/Maintain displays (set up promotional and sales displays, introduction and cut-in of new items)
• Build relationship with store managers and employees
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris
• Tag/price compliance
• Reorder products that you service
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross merchandise
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports for timely submission via tablet
• Manage back stock ensuring product is worked to shelf
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
