Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support supermarket partners by keeping inline General Merchandise well stocked, organized, and visually appealing.

You will build displays, maintain inventory, and ensure planogram compliance across assigned locations while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication, basic math, and reliable transportation to travel weekly to Dunmore, PA and other PA locations, with day shifts and a daytime

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience preferred in grocery or general merch.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and ability to handle pricing and inventory tasks.
• Reliable transportation and daily time management abilities.
• Ability to read instructions and follow planograms precisely.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits to assigned locations.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are stocked and maintained.
• Place and maintain displays including promotional items.
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Maintain shelf conditions, keep sections clean and debris-free.
• Tag and price items accurately and ensure compliance.
• Reorder products serviced and manage inventory levels.
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports via tablet.
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf and in cross-merch areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Retail Merchandiser, you play a key role in supporting supermarket partners by ensuring well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing in-line categories, seasonal displays, and promotional sections. Responsibilities include generating sales orders, stocking shelves, maintaining inventory levels, and addressing basic store-level issues across one or more assigned locations.

• Make regularly scheduled store visits
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained
• Place/Maintain displays (set up promotional and sales displays, introduction and cut-in of new items)
• Build relationship with store managers and employees
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris
• Tag/price compliance
• Reorder products that you service
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross merchandise
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports for timely submission via tablet
• Manage back stock ensuring product is worked to shelf
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule: Mon-Fri

Travel required weekly: Dunmore, PA, Wyoming, PA, Marshalls Creek, PA, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Edwardsville, PA, Montrose, PA;

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
