Job summary

United Pacific Surgery Center in Tarzana, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse PreOp PACU on a PRN basis to join our fast-paced ambulatory center. The RN will provide continuity of care for patients emerging from anesthesia, monitor recovery, and ensure safety and comfort through discharge planning.

This role requires a CA nursing license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and 2+ years in PreOp/PACU, with ambulatory surgery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active California nursing license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications through AHA.
• 2+ years in Pre-Op/PACU, ambulatory setting preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care pre-discharge.
• Maintain safety, privacy and comfort throughout recovery.
