Job summary

Scheels is hiring a part-time, on-site Customer Service representative in Springfield, IL. You will greet customers, manage fitting room flow, assist with product questions, answer calls, and maintain a clean environment near the fitting area.

Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour with a schedule between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays and various weekend hours; approximately 20 hours per week. ESOP and 401(k) with Roth options are offered.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have or be in pursuit of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, check customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring the amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room
• Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor
• Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant disposition
• Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment
