Chapters Health System is seeking an LPN to provide nursing interventions under RN supervision, delivering care aimed at maximizing patient comfort and quality of life for patients and families.

The role requires current LPN licensure, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. Experience with infusion and IV procedures is preferred, and the position may demand flexibility in scheduling and travel as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• For Hope Employees: BLS by Jan 1, 2025.
• For Capital Caring employees: BLS by Nov 1, 2024.

Responsabilidades

• Under RN supervision, provides nursing interventions and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and quality of life.
• Under the direction of an RN, provides nursing tasks such as continuous care, dressing changes, catheter changes per care plan.
• Observes/monitors patients for changes, reports to RN; documents per policy.
• Perform venipuncture for blood specimens and IV-related tasks as applicable.
• Report findings to physicians and collaborate with RN.
