Job summary

ECHO in Leesburg, VA, is seeking a Day Program Support Specialist (DSP) to help adults with disabilities live meaningful, engaging lives in our LIFE Day Support Program. The role offers Monday–Friday daytime hours (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with no nights or weekends, providing predictable work-life balance and a chance to make a real impact.

You will support daily activities, lead engaging activities, and help create a safe, inclusive environment while tracking progress and celebrating successes.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening (including fingerprinting).
Some experience or education in human services preferred, but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

Support individuals in daily activities, life skills, and personal goals.
Lead or assist with fun, engaging activities (art, music, games, community outings).
Provide encouragement, structure, and positive support.
Assist with personal care when needed (with dignity and respect).
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Track progress and celebrate successes.
