Job summary

ECHO in Leesburg, VA, is seeking a Day Program Support Specialist (DSP) to help adults with disabilities live meaningful, engaging lives in our LIFE Day Support Program. The role offers Monday–Friday daytime hours (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with no nights or weekends, providing predictable work-life balance and a chance to make a real impact.

You will support daily activities, lead engaging activities, and help create a safe, inclusive environment while tracking progress and celebrating successes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (including fingerprinting).
• Some experience or education in human services preferred, but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily activities, life skills, and personal goals.
• Lead or assist with fun, engaging activities (art, music, games, community outings).
• Provide encouragement, structure, and positive support.
• Assist with personal care when needed (with dignity and respect).

• Monday–Friday only (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
